This past week we finally finished all of our intergenerational videos! It was such a good feeling to have them completed and really feel like we accomplished a lot with them. We have six of them now and we're not quite sure how many more we will do, if we even are able to conduct any more. When second semester starts we will move straight into planning for the senior prom meaning that our schedule will be busy with planning food, music, dates, among other things. Since we finished the videos though we were able to go to Woodland Terrace this past Thursday to attend a grand buddies Christmas party. At the party, residents of the community were paired with kids from a local school, Sugar Creek, and they each gave gifts to each other and had lunch together. It was cool to see them get along so well in person! it was a great week working with the Woodland Terrace community.
